Sunday Wedding at the Ace Hotel
Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 11:43AM Ok, so it's true- I would marry the Ace Hotel if it was possible. Every time I go I love it more. This past week the Ace's "Shortbus Sundays" combined forces with the totally awesome Flashdance DJ Michael Antonia for "Sunday Weddings" and MAGIC was born (in the form of a splendid poolside afternoon of fun, debauchery, schmoozing and boozing). First things first: Michael's music was beyond stellar and set the perfect mood for everything fun. Yeah, I'd probably marry his music too. The creative and marvelous Michelle of Mint Julep Social Events co-hosted the event. Everyone that could make it out had a kick ass time and loved every second of it. And of course, I took pictures. Here are my favorites.... Enjoy! Wait...did I mention they make alcohol infused sno cones and have a ridiculously fun bartender (Christian) who cruises around the pool making deliveries on a longboard?!?! I want to be a full time resident of the Ace. I NEED to be a full time resident of the Ace. It may very well be my destiny.
