ONE ON ONE PHOTOGRAPHER MENTOR SESSIONS
I spent nearly two years teaching photography at the Art Institute of California, San Diego. One thing I learned: knowing how to take photos and knowing how to teach others to take photos are two wildly different skills. I like to think that after my years at the Art Institute that my teaching skills caught up to my photography skills and now I'm happy to offer mentoring sessions for anyone interested in learning more...about photography, post production, the business of wedding photography, workflow, marketing, or anything else. Practice photo sessions can be arranged, phone consultations are available, I'll even help you develop a step by step plan to launch your business. Contact us for more information and pricing.

I've always been a bit of a minimalist when it comes to gear- I like to be able to carry everything I'll use. My greatest tool is my eyes (natural light is my favorite- it took me a long time to learn how to find the most beautiful light and utilize it for the best). Not everything on this list comes with to every event/shoot, but they all serve a purpose- whether for my professional life or as fun little tools to play with and inspire me creatively.
